Advertisement Policy

Nursing Genius Journal (NGJ) maintains a robust Advertisement Policy to ensure the autonomy of editorial decisions and to safeguard the integrity of our content. The following guidelines outline our approach to advertisements and commercially sponsored publications:

  1. Independence from Editorial Decisions:

    • All advertisements and commercially sponsored publications are entirely independent of editorial decisions.
    • NGJ does not endorse any product or service featured in advertisements or promoted by sponsors within NGJ publications.
  2. Protection of Editorial Content:

    • Editorial content remains uncompromised by commercial or financial interests.
    • No specific arrangements with advertising clients or sponsors influence editorial decisions.
  3. Right to Decline Advertisements:

    • NGJ reserves the right to decline any advertising that may damage the brand or is deemed inappropriate for the content on the NGJ network.
  4. Restrictions on Harmful Products:

    • NGJ will not accept advertising for products or services known to be harmful to health, such as tobacco and alcohol products.
  5. Verifiability and Truthfulness:

    • Advertisements may not be deceptive or misleading; they must be verifiable.
    • Advertisements should clearly identify the advertiser and the product or service being offered.
    • Exaggerated or extravagantly worded copy is not permitted.
  6. Avoidance of Indecency and Offensiveness:

    • Advertisements will not be accepted if they appear to be indecent or offensive in either text or artwork.
    • Content related to personal, racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, or religious nature will be rejected.
  7. Editorial Authority for Advertisement Removal:

    • Once an advertisement is deployed online, it may be withdrawn from the journal site at any time if requested by the Editor(s)-in-Chief or Publisher.
  8. Restrictions on Treatment-Specific or Drug-Specific Campaigns:

    • NGJ does not allow treatment-specific or drug-specific campaigns to be targeted to specific articles or pages.
  9. Encouragement of Correct and Rational Use:

    • Advertisements for drug-specific campaigns must encourage correct and rational use and must not be misleading.
  10. Distinguishability of Advertisements and Editorial Content:

    • Advertisements and editorial content must be clearly distinguishable.
    • "Advertorial" content will not be published, and sponsored supplements must be clearly indicated as such.
  11. Non-Influence on Editorial Decisions:

    • Editorial decisions remain uninfluenced by current or potential sponsors and advertisers.
    • Advertisers and sponsors have no control or influence over search results on the website.
  12. Advertising Outside Standard Positions:

    • Requests for advertising outside standard positions should be directed to editorial for a final decision within three business days.
