- Editorial content remains uncompromised by commercial or financial interests.
- No specific arrangements with advertising clients or sponsors influence editorial decisions.
Right to Decline Advertisements:
- JGHPR reserves the right to decline any advertising that may damage the brand or is deemed inappropriate for the content on the JGHPR network.
Restrictions on Harmful Products:
- JGHPR will not accept advertising for products or services known to be harmful to health, such as tobacco and alcohol products.
Verifiability and Truthfulness:
- Advertisements may not be deceptive or misleading; they must be verifiable.
- Advertisements should clearly identify the advertiser and the product or service being offered.
- Exaggerated or extravagantly worded copy is not permitted.
Avoidance of Indecency and Offensiveness:
- Advertisements will not be accepted if they appear to be indecent or offensive in either text or artwork.
- Content related to personal, racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, or religious nature will be rejected.
Editorial Authority for Advertisement Removal:
- Once an advertisement is deployed online, it may be withdrawn from the journal site at any time if requested by the Editor(s)-in-Chief or Publisher.
Restrictions on Treatment-Specific or Drug-Specific Campaigns:
- JGHPR does not allow treatment-specific or drug-specific campaigns to be targeted to specific articles or pages.
Encouragement of Correct and Rational Use:
- Advertisements for drug-specific campaigns must encourage correct and rational use and must not be misleading.
Distinguishability of Advertisements and Editorial Content:
- Advertisements and editorial content must be clearly distinguishable.
- "Advertorial" content will not be published, and sponsored supplements must be clearly indicated as such.
Non-Influence on Editorial Decisions:
- Editorial decisions remain uninfluenced by current or potential sponsors and advertisers.
- Advertisers and sponsors have no control or influence over search results on the website.
Advertising Outside Standard Positions:
- Requests for advertising outside standard positions should be directed to editorial for a final decision within three business days.
